About this course
Designers have a contradictory relationship with metrics. On one hand, they understand the importance of understanding and managing them, but on the other they feel overwhelmed with numbers, not knowing where to start.
Moreover, they feel like they “don’t know about metrics” (you know much more than you think!).
The idea of this course is to bring designers closer to the world of metrics and make them feel comfortable handling numbers, KPIs, indicators, and dashboards. Furthermore, they can develop a metrics mindset that helps them design better.
Goal
The goal of this course is for designers to become familiar with metrics so they can apply them throughout the design process, from planning to delivery:
- Define success metrics in early stages to develop focus
- Make informed design decisions
- Defend and justify design decisions
- Show the impact of design decisions
